Planetary gear box comprises stages for gears. Gears are well Located and running force goes to six points, therefore, gears engage well. In contrast, only one tooth is engaged in an ordinary. It is same torque lower force action on planetary gear. So for same load a lighter smaller planetary gear can get needed effect
